Detailed Description Waxy is an excellent landscaping plant as well as being cold hardy. Established clumps will throw the pendulous bright red flowers through the year. But the big draw for this one is foliage. The whole plant is powdery silver. Fabulous mass planted or when juxtaposed with purple foliage (wheats, heliconia she kong, costus green mountain, black tulips) Highly recommended for landscaping professionals as it is dependable, cold hardy and highly ornamental.
